NEWS

Bob & Kathleen Humphries celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary on Saturday 8th October, 2011. Bob and Kathleen are stalwart supporters of the work at St Andrew’s.

CONGRATULATIONS
We congratulate 3 of our young men who have attended a youth leadership course run by the PCANZ Synod under the guidance of Stephanie Redhead and have received certificates of achievement. This is a great effort and we express our congratulations to Corey Leask, Joshua Harding and Jamie Colvin.

These are the leaders of the Church in the future and they deserve our encouragement and appreciation. All three regularly attend and contribute at our evening services, and Joshua is assisting with the sound system at the morning service.

SYMPATHY
We extend to our deepest sympathy to:

Mrs Heather Comerford on the passing of Mr Andrew Comerford - 31/08/11

Mr Bruce Hill-Smith on the passing of Mrs Ann Hill-Smith - 06/09/11

Mrs Joanne Fanin on the passing of her father-in-law Mr William Fanin - 31/10/11

BAPTISM - On 09 October we were delighted to baptise two members of the St. Andrew's Youth Group by sprinkling of water. Both Gypsy and Juanita have completed OMEGA Bible studies on baptism and realise the importance of baptism in their walk as life-long followers of Christ. ( N.B. on December 11 in the 10:00 am morning service 7 more candidates will be baptised, this time by full immersion).
